I went for an evening walk in a birch forest by the fjeld Saana and came across a herd that I followed for an hour. They decided to rest and allowed me to sit nearby, listening their low sounds and almost feeling like a part of the gang. Reindeer in Finland are partly domesticated but roam free the most of the time.
